SOME of football’s most famous faces have congratulated Barnsley lad Tom Clare and Manchester model Molly Smith on being crowned the first Love Island All Stars’ winners.

The hit ITV2 show hosted the final on Monday night and was watched by more than one million people across the UK.

Tom, who used to play football for the Barnsley FC academy, entered the show for the second time in as many years in January - but this time he coupled up with Molly Smith.

In his first stint in the villa, the 24-year-old finished third with London-based Samie Elishi - but he went even further this year.

Tom was coupled up with Molly for the entirety of his stay in South Africa, and despite her ex-boyfriend of three years Callum Jones - who subsequently finished second - also being on the same show, the duo came out victorious.

Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand offered his well wishes to the pair, as did Tom’s former boss Robbie Savage.

The couple will split the £50,000 prize money.
