A DODWORTH firm’s young apprentice has bagged a top award.
Leah Burkinshaw, who works at Infinite Fire and Security, won the ‘Love Your Apprentice’ competition.( To secure first place, Leah engaged in a spirited campaign, rallying support from friends, colleagues and well-wishers on organiser LEW Electrical Distributors’ Facebook page.
The 19-year-old’s tenacity paid off as she emerged victorious with an impressive 719 votes.( Leah said: “I am truly honoured to receive this award but it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support from everyone at Infinite and those who voted for me.
“This recognition fuels my passion to continue excelling in the field.”( Managing director Chris Gillis added: “Leah’s journey with us exemplifies our commitment to fostering talent and excellence.
