A NUMBER of students from Barnsley FC Community Trust jetted off to Spain last week to take part in the ‘trip of a lifetime’.

Thirteen education students arrived in Seville last Thursday as part of the Turing Scheme.

The scheme is the government’s global programme to study and work abroad.

It/ provides funding for international/ opportunities/ in education and training/ across the world./

A spokesperson for Barnsley FC Community Trust said: “Supporting/ the government’s Global Britain/ objectives, the Turing Scheme/ unlocks the/ opportunity for UK organisations to offer experiences/ across the/ world/ for their students, learners and pupils.

“The students will spend 23 days in Seville, Spain carrying out work experience at Vistahermosa Club de Futbol and San Roque Balompie.”
