They made 180 then Hayden Byrne took three wickets.

Wath then lost at the same opponents the next day in the Whitworth Cup. They collapsed from 125 for two to 148 all out chasing 227, after Rob Barlow took five wickets.

Houghton Main fell 61 runs short chasing 209 against Sheffield Collegiate.

Houghton then won against Wakefield Thornes in the Whitworth Cup.

Zaki Anjam took six wickets then Zia Ahmed hit 77 not out as Houghton chased 214 with four wickets and 11 balls left.

Rockingham were dismissed for 48 chasing Aston Hall’s 155. Lasith Lakshan took three wickets.

Lakshan then was run out for 96 as Rock lost at home to Aston Hall in the cup.

They posted 221 but lost by five wickets with five balls left.

Boeta Beukes made 71 not out then took three wickets but Barnsley Woolley 2nd XI’s 133 was not enough in a six-wicket loss at home to Ackworth.
