ALEXANDER Sidney was the star player in Wath under 11s’ four-run win at Monk Bretton.
Sidney top-scored with 20 off 14 balls including four fours, then took four wickets for 12 runs from his three overs. Harvey Desborough took two for ten.
Worsbrough Bridge under 11s won at Penistone Lions. J Brown top-scored for Worsbrough and S Foster for Penistone. B Durkan took two wickets for Penistone.
Penistone under 11s won at Cawthorne. Charlie Richards and Oliver Parry took two wickets each for Penistone then Richards and Thomas Drye top-scored. Samuel Mooney top-scored for Cawthorne before James Haslam took two wickets.
Rockingham under 11s beat Darfield by 79 runs. There were two wickets each for G Moore and I Rasool then they also top-scored. Wombwell Main under 11s beat Darton Sikas by ten runs. Josh Butterfield Thornton top-scored for Darton then took three for six. Alister Claydon and Layton Oscroft took two wickets each for Wombwell.
In the eight-a-side league, Rockingham under 13s won by 13 runs at Cawthorne.
Manvir Singh Kang top-scored with 43 then Adam Cummins took two wickets.
Cawthorne’s Harrison Dale and Riley Brook had taken two wickets each.
Elsecar under 13s won by 88 runs over Darfield. O Porter took four for 14 and J Murray two for ten. N Rushforth top-scored. Elsecar under 13s Blue won by 12 runs at Darton. T Sanderson took three wickets then G Dyson top-scored.
Darton’s top-scorer was L Hunter then J Butterfield took two wickets.
In the 11-a-side league, Rockingham under 13s beat Cawthorne. The top-scorers were M Kang for Rock and J Shaw for Cawthorne. There were two wickets for Cawthorne’s Dale and Rockingham’s M Bell. Elsecar under 13s won at Wath and Barnsley Woolley under 13s defeated Upper Haugh.
Barnsley Woolley under 17s beat Silkstone. Alfie Gosney and Dairen Hirst-Spalding top-scored then there were two wickets for Charlie Hay, Harry Egginton and Max Heseltine. Lucas Quilter top-scored for Silkstone.
Elsecar under 17s beat Rockingham by four wickets. Rock’s E Singh made 48 and Elsecar’s J Pearson 50 not out.
There were two wickets for Elsecar’s E Bennett and C Pearce then three for Rockingham’s N Shore.
Monk Bretton under 17s won by eight wickets at Wath.
