TV presenter Sir Michael Parkinson is returning to his roots next week with a special 'evening with' event in Barnsley.
Last year, the Civic announced the award winning talk show host and author as its first patron to support its work.
He said: "I am delighted to be involved with what I regard to be an important organisation and look forward to coming to Barnsley and seeing the Civic in action."
An evening with Sir Michael Parkinson begins at 7.30pm on Thursday.
