'Lively goal threat' Harvey Barnes is being asked to make an impact off the bench for Barnsley.

The 19-year-old joined from Leicester City on a season-long loan on Friday and came on for ten minutes against Ipswich on Saturday then for two more on Tuesday against Nottingham Forest. Barnes has four goals in five games for England under 18s and netted six in 21 on loan to MK Dons in League One last season.

Reds head coach Paul Heckingbottom said: "What you saw of him against Ipswich is what he brings. The shackles were off and we were chasing the game. He had that bit more space to play in but he can do that. He is lively and a goal threat."
