What is the Epaper?

The Epaper is a digital version of our printed newspaper. A subscription allows you access via a phone, tablet or computer to the digital version of our newspaper. You will see all of the same content and adverts that appear in our printed product. You will have access to the epaper for the length of your subscription - if you subscribe for seven days, you will have access for seven days, you cannot go into your account after that time and access previous editions.

How do I subscribe?

Select a subscription offer and go through the payment process. Please note, you create an account, to which you then add a subscription to. If you create an account, but do not go through the payment process you will have an account but not an active subscription. You cannot access the epaper without a subscription.

How do I access the epaper?

You can access the epaper from any page of our website https://www.barnsleychronicle.com. Click ‘epaper’ in the top right hand corner of the website, then select the edition you wish to read. You can also bookmark the epaper page: https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/epaper

How do I log into my account?

Go to the website and select Manage Account/Login. Enter your email and password.

PLEASE NOTE: When you click 'epaper' or 'login' it activates a sign in widget for you to enter your details. If you have pop up blockers installed this pay prevent the login box from showing. Please disable any such software until you have logged in. If you still need help please click here for assistance.

I have an account but cannot access my epaper

To access the epaper you need an active subscription, if your subscription has expired you cannot gain access. Please visit https://www.barnsleychronicle.com/subscribe and re-subscribe.

You can look up previous subscriptions in your account. Click on Login/Signup, enter your email and password. Check you are loggin in with the correct email address associated with your subscription. If you still cannot gain access please email digitalsubscriptions@barnsley-chronicle.co.uk.

How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by clicking on Manage Account/Login and selecting the option forgot password.

The link in the password reset email doesn’t work

Your browser settings may be set to block you from opening the link. Under the blue button, it

states, “If the above button doesn't work, copy and paste the following URL into your browser”.

Please copy and paste the URL you see into your browser’s address bar.

I’m unable to purchase a subscription.

You may have already signed up for that subscription offer. Login to your account to view the status of any subscriptions. If you have no subscription and are still unable to purchase one please email digitalsubscriptions@barnsley-chronicle.co.uk

I need a receipt for my subscription

How do I update my payment method?

Log into your account, scroll down to the Payment Method section, and select Add Payment Method. Enter the card information, select Make this my default, & select Add Method to all subscriptions. Delete any unwanted cards on file

I have a subscription and I still see messages asking me to subscribe.

Make sure you are logged into the website. Also, if you are logged in, make sure the account you are logged in to is the account associated with the subscription (using the correct email address).

How do I change my contact details?

Log in to your account, select personal information and update your details.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel your subscription in your dashboard. Click on Manage Account/Login to access your account, scroll down to the list of your subscription, click on the three black dots on the right and click 'cancel subscription'.

You may notify us of your intent to cancel at any time, but all cancellations will be processed at the end of your current subscription term.

Subscribers who have selected a monthly contract, paid monthly may cancel at any time. You will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. You will continue to have the same access and benefits of your product for the remainder of the current billing period.

Subscribers who select a 12-month contract, but paid annually, may cancel at any time. However, you will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle. You will continue to have the same access and benefits of your product for the remainder of the current billing period.

What are the accepted payment methods?

How do I gift an annual subscription to someone else?

You can purchase a one off annual subscription for friends and family. Simply tick the 'Is Gift' option at checkout and we will send you an e-gift voucher you can give to them.

How does the subscription transaction appear on my bank statement?

The transaction will appear: Barnsley Chronicle, [subscription type], GetAdmiral, Gainesville FL.

How will my payment be processed and my details protected?

Protecting your payment details is paramount. All payment information we receive is encrypted using the latest security technology and your payment data is never stored on our systems. Our payment technology partners are PCI compliant.

How do you use my personal data?

We use your personal data for the purpose of updating/contacting you about your subscription. We use a third party software to collect and manage customer account data, we do not sell this data to other organisations. We take data security very seriously.
