Police issue appeal after Barnsley town centre assault

SEVERAL men are wanted by police in connection with an alleged assault in Barnsley town centre.
Police released a CCTV image of the seven men, after a 41-year-old man was reportedly assaulted while waiting in a taxi queue on Market Hill at around 7.45pm on January 25.
He suffered a cut on his head, a chipped tooth and bruising to his face and body.
Police say the men shown in the image were in the taxi queue at the time of the assault, and believe they may have information that could help with their inquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number 14/23469/20.
