Barnsley have recruited Burnley midfielder Josh Benson on a four-year deal.
The fee is undiclosed but the deal is thought to be worth more than £1million, with all clauses.
The 21-year-old, who spent a decade in the Arsenal academy before moving to the Clarets in 2018, played six games in the Premier League last season.
He was also loaned to League Two Grimsby Town early last year, scoring two goals in 11 games.
He is the second signing of the week and third of the summer, following the arrivals of Devante Cole then Obbi Oulare.
Belgian striker Aaron Leya Iseka is also very close to joining the Reds.

Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
