TWO more arrests have been made in connection to the disappearance of a Barnsley man more than two years ago.

Richard Dyson, then 58, was last seen by his daughter on November 15, 2019, and was reported missing ten days later after he missed their next arranged meeting.

An investigation was opened which concluded that he was last seen on November 19, 2019, at 11pm while walking along Sheffield Road in Hoyland.

In March of this year, three men aged 43, 51 and 68, from Barnsley, and a 67-year-old man from Rotherham, were all arrested on suspicion of murder.

They all remain released under investigation as further enquiries continue.

Today, two more men from Barnsley aged 46 and 48 were arrested on suspicion of murder and have since been released under investigation.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “If you have any information which could assist our officers, please contact 101 quoting incident number 459 of November 25, 2019, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
