A CODE of conduct may be put together for visiting speakers at council meetings after a guest allegedly swore at planning board members.
The chair of Barnsley Council’s planning committee, Coun Ken Richardson, said he would look at putting together measures after Coun Sarah Tattersall said she heard a resident in attendance use two swear words at Tuesday’s meeting.
Coun Tattersall added: “They used two swear words beginning with ‘F’ and ‘B’ and it has really upset me.”
