BETHANY England, from Kingstone, helped Chelsea to complete the English double this week and is now hoping to help England to claim silverware this summer.
The 27-year-old striker started for the Blues against Manchester City in front of a record crowd of 49,094 at Wembley.
She claimed an assist for Erin Cuthbert’s superb long-range strike which made it 2-1 then, after City levelled, England’s strike partner Sam Kerr secured the 3-2 win in extra-time.
Chelsea had secured the WSL title last week while it was the second FA Cup final they won this season after another victory in December in the 2021 final which was delayed due to Covid.
The European Championships take place in England in July.
