AN ingenious way of recycling kids’ empty drink bottles has been revealed thanks to the Worsbrough Ward Alliance.
The group teamed up with local children from schools including The Mill Academy, Ward Green and Bank End primaries, who collectively donated 2,000 bottles.
The waste was then transformed into three benches - and each school had theirs delivered this week.
Coun Lodge said: “It’s a great idea as it gets kids thinking about recycling - they all got involved and the benches are now installed.”
