BARNSLEY are exploring the possibility of getting Aaron Leya Iseka a new loan club after Adanaspor withdrew from the Turkish second division for this season.

The club is based in the city of Adana, which has been impacted by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Iseka has left the club but is not thought to have returned to Oakwell.

The Chronicle understands the Reds are hoping to find him another loan club to complete the season with but that may require special dispensation outside a transfer window.

The 25-year-old Belgian striker is contracted to the Reds until 2025 but struggled for form last season then played once in the cup this campaign.

He had scored twice in ten games for Adanaspor.

Meanwhile, Joe Ackroyd scored for Buxton in their 1-1 draw at Darlington on Tuesday in the National League North.
