A FORMER Barnsley FC striker could face jail time after he performed a sex act on himself in front of a teenage girl.
Shaun Tuton, 31, of Greenwood Road in Darnall, played for the Reds between 2016 and 2018 without scoring a goal.
He now plays for Whitby Town in the seventh tier of English football.
The incident occurred as the victim waited for a taxi outside Sheffield Railway Station in October 2021, when she was just 17 years old.
He was said to have been fondling himself under his joggers and groaning ‘sexually’.
Tuton was found guilty of outraging public decency after a trial last week and warned he could face jail.
His case has been adjourned for pre-sentence reports.
