A MAN was attacked in Thurnscoe this week after confronting a gang of youths who congregated outside his house.
A police investigation is now ongoing following the incident.
A spokesperson told the Chronicle: “We received a report just after 8.30pm on Tuesday that a group of young people were congregated outside a property on Whyn View.
”It was reported a man from the property has approached the group and an altercation has taken place between them, with the man sustaining injuries to his face.
“His car was also damaged.
“Officers attended and are continuing with enquiries.”
