A SCHOOL uniform exchange which has been a huge success in recent years has been relaunched ahead of the summer holidays.

Stephanie Peacock, the MP for Barnsley East, has opened the swap-shop-style exchange for children, parents and carers in her constituency.

It involves members of the community donating school uniform they no longer need for those who could benefit from it.

She said: “I am pleased to be running my school uniform exchange programme once again for the summer holidays.

“This has been really successful in previous years, and I hope that the uniform available for the Barnsley community has been helpful.

“Thank you to those who have so kindly donated items in the past.
