HEMINGFIELD cyclist Jenson Young climbed onto the podium at the Cold Dark North’s Proper Northern Road Race held in Aughton in Lancashire.
The 22-year-old, representing Rokit-SRCT, finished third in the harsh weather on the 116km course.
Cawthorne’s Damien Clayton, 30, continued to test himself on the European circuit.
He competed in the Grand Prix de la ville de Perenchies in France on Sunday and finished 55th.
