A MAN has ‘life-changing’ injuries after he was stabbed in Birdwell on Monday evening.
Police were called at around 6.25pm to reports that a man had been assaulted on Chapel Street.
No arrests have been made but enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson told the Chronicle: “One male is currently receiving care at hospital where his injuries are believed to be life changing.
“No arrests have been made currently.
“Enquiries are ongoing.
“If you have any information that could help with our investigation, please call 101 and quote incident number 712 of September 18.”
