BARNSLEY Council’s ruling cabinet members will discuss replacing the local authority’s vehicle fleet next year.
The current fleet contains hundreds of vehicle sand has a capital value of more than £10m - and bosses say it’s ‘essential’ to deliver services to residents across the borough.
Last year around £5m was spent on new vehicles - and cabinet members will meet on March 20 to discuss their plans for this year.
