DEARNE and District lost on penalties at home to Derby Singh Brothers in the quarter-final of the Floodlit Cup on Tuesday.
The visitors took an early lead but Liam Flint soon levelled and the match finished 1-1.
Dearne missed their first penalty and lost the shoot-out 5-3.
They also went out of the Central Midlands League Cup last week at the semi-final stage so can only win the league title after hoping for a treble.
Dearne’s league game at home to Chesterfield Youth was called off.
They are seven points clear at the top of the table, although second-placed Doncaster City have two games in hand.
