BARNSLEY Women’s FC won 4-0 at second-bottom York City on Sunday in National League Division One North.

The Reds are third, with two games to play, and six points off the only promotion place.

Louise Biggins scored twice, Rosie Axten netted after her penalty was saved, and Jodie Snelson struck late on.

They are due to complete their season at Chorley on April 21 then at home to Doncaster Rovers Belles on May 5.

Wombwell Town won at home to Hemsworth in Division Four of the Sheffield and Hallamshire League.

Jenna-Lea Portess scored once and Megan Reece twice.
