HEARTBROKEN parents Allun and Niki O'Brien finally have a headstone to mark the resting place of their twins thanks to kind-hearted Barnsley folk.

The couple made the devastating decision to end the life of their unborn twin daughter Layla to save her brother William.

But William was born 16 weeks early, weighing just 728 grams, and died of a blood infection.

Allun and Niki, of Park Hill Grove, Dodworth, designed a headstone after generous donations totalling £1,000.

It now marks the twins' final resting place at Wath cemetery.
