Barnsley head coach Lee Johnson says he does not fear for his job on the back of four league defeats in a row.

The Reds have slipped to 19th in the League One table following defeats to Doncaster Rovers, bottom club Crewe, Southend United and Walsall on Tuesday night.

With three of the five clubs below Barnsley in the table already sacking their manager this season, the pressure is on Johnson to turn the Reds' form around.

They are currently ten points off the play-off places and are only one point above the drop zone.

Johnson says he still has a massive desire to make his time at Oakwell a successful one and he believes the club's owner Patrick Cryne will give him the time to do so.

Johnson said: "I love this place and I am going to be here, I hope, a very long time because I want to be the one to deliver what everybody wants.

"We are all frustrated because we want to deliver. He wants me to deliver and I want to deliver to everybody else.

"He's been as good as gold with me. As a human and a boss. I've really enjoyed working with him."
