A FATHER who was left with only half a skull and serious health problems after suffering a massive stroke has been told his benefits are to be reinstated.

Kenny Bailey featured in the Chronicle and national papers two weeks ago after being told by the government he was ‘fit for work’ despite being paralysed on his left side, suffering a severe limp, memory and concentration problems.

His employment support allowance was stopped after a medical examination was requested by the Department for Work and Pensions.

It has now done a u-turn and written to Kenny, 50, of Cobcar Lane, Elsecar, to say his benefit will be reinstated.
