A CUDWORTH resident has been spreading Christmas cheer in his community by dressing up as Santa and roaming across the borough.
Ashley Jackson, 30, of Barnsley Road in Cudworth, decided to spread some joy in his area by decorating his speed boat up with Christmas lights and driving through town.
He told the Chronicle: “With the pandemic happening throughout Christmas I decided that I wanted to spread a bit of cheer so I decorated the speed boat and attached it to the back of the car.
“I’m going around Cudworth every Saturday and when I went last weekend the reception was great - it’s gone all over Facebook and a lot of the kids were excited to see the boat.
“We’re hoping that it turns into a tradition and because of the support we received we’re looking at going all over the county.”
