A TEACHING assistant who has worked at the same primary school for more than 26 years is saying her final goodbyes.
Andrea Swift, 59, is a long-standing member of staff at Queens Road Academy and has taught hundreds of pupils.
Rachel Sakels, who has worked alongside Andrea for eight years, said: “Andrea will be sorely missed at Queens Road Academy.
“Both her colleagues and her students will miss her dearly as she really epitomises the school with her positivity and kindness.
“At this point she’s part of the furniture because she’s worked with so many people and pupils over the years.
“We hope to give her the perfect send-off and wish her a very happy and deserved retirement.”
