AN inquest into the death of a young couple in a horror collision outside the town centre is set to take place on Thursday.
Jack Nunn, 24, and Hannah Elsworth-Utley, 22, died after the white Audi A5 they were travelling in collided with a tree on Huddersfield Road at around 1.30am on Sunday, June 21.
Hannah, a nurse at Barnsley Hospital, and Jack, co-owner of a tyre garage, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Floral tributes were placed at the site shortly after the incident, and a Just Giving page raised thousands for the NHS in the couple’s memory.
