TWO Barnsley actors will share the small screen in an ITV drama next week.
Katherine Kelly and Shaun Dooley will star in the second season of hit show Innocent.
Set in the Lake District town of Keswick, the four-part series follows Katherine’s character - Sally Wright - who aims to prove her innocence after being accused of murdering one of her pupils with whom she had been having an affair.
Leading the investigation is Shaun’s character, DCI Mike Braithwaite, who will aim to discover whether Sally has been telling the truth, or whether she committed the crime.
It is the first time locals Katherine and Shaun have starred opposite each other.
Katherine shot to fame playing outgoing Becky McDonald in Coronation Street, and Shaun has recently starred in dramas It’s a Sin and The Stranger.
Innocent will be shown from May 15 to May 21.
