A BARNSLEY bowling complex will not require customers to wear a face covering.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed that there would be stricter measures in regards to face coverings in a press conference last weekend, but Barnsley Bowl, based in Carlton, have released a statement saying that anyone attending will not currently be required to wear a face mask.

A spokesperson added: “Any customers or staff who choose to wear one will be welcomed with open arms.

“We have an amazing ventilation system that refreshes the air in the centre several times an hour.

“We still have safe service areas with plastic service barriers, we continue to use an approved anti viral cleaner to constantly clean our centre and we have hand sanitising gel points throughout.

“Everything we do is done with the safety of our customers and staff in mind.”
