POLICE are appealing for information after a £3,000 engagement ring was stolen by young girls at Barnsley Metrodome.
It’s reported that on May 13, at around 7.20pm, two girls - described as aged between ten and 16 - stole an engagement ring from the swimming pool changing rooms.
A police spokesperson said: “The first was white, of a stocky build and approximately 4ft 8ins tall, with red hair.
“The second was also white, of a medium build, around 5ft 3ins tall with brown hair.
“If you can help, please call 101 quoting investigation number 14/89305/22 of May 13.
“Alternatively, you can stay completely anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers via their website Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling their UK Contact Centre on 0800 555 111.”
