A TEENAGE girl who is believed to have been swimming in a Hoyle Mill lake was taken to hospital.
A number of emergency services - including the police and Yorkshire Air Ambulance - were on the scene at Dearne Valley Park.
A police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called at 8.45am yesterday following reports of concern for the safety of a teenager in water.
“She was taken to hospital and her family has been informed.
“No further information is available at this time.”
