A HOYLAND Common woman has been named Young Yorkshire Trader of the Year.
Lauren Bower, 30, specialises in hand-crafted art deco inspired homeware, using digital technologies including 3D printing.
At last weekend’s NMTF award ceremony, Lauren picked up the award - and she says she’s ‘chuffed’.
She said: “Every year they do a competition and this year I won the category for regional and Yorkshire Young Trader of the Year.
“I didn’t expect it at all - it definitely came as a shock.
“All the winners of the award go to a national final in Stratford-upon-Avon.
“It’s the first time I’ve ever won anything - I’m chuffed and really proud.”
