BARNSLEY East MP Stephanie Peacock has called for government action on young people’s mental health.
She says action is needed immediatley and spoke out on the worrying levels of you people being admitted to Barnsley Hospital due to self-harm.
She added: “I have met with the government minister responsible, local stakeholders, South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System, and the local authority to discuss how to alleviate this crisis.
“It’s time to end the wait.
