The scheme aims to improve the area, whilst also showcasing some of Lundwood’s best assets.
Last week, Dan brought local councillors, representatives from Berneslai Homes, South Yorkshire Police and the church together to meet with residents to discuss their concerns and ideas about how to improve the area.
He said: “It’s been a great few days in Lundwood, and despite the howling wind and rain, our drop-in event was very well attended.
“It’s been brilliant to be able to meet so many local people and bring them together with their local councillors, South Yorkshire Police and Berneslai Homes, to discuss the issues that matter to them and what we need to do to improve life here for everyone.
“Lundwood is a fantastic place and today’s meeting was just the start, there’s much more to do here but also throughout Barnsley and I’m hoping to replicate today’s event across the borough.”
