POLICE are still on the hunt for this wanted man in Barnsley as he continues to avoid officers over the festive period.
Liam Jones, 26, is wanted for failing to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on November 12 last year, in connection to possession with intent to supply drugs.
Jones, who has links to Barnsley town centre, Darton, Barugh Green and Woolley Edge, is white and described as being around 6ft and muscular.
A spokesperson added: “Since this time, officers have carried out extensive enquiries to trace Jones including several searches at addresses linked to Jones, and other investigative checks.
“We are now asking for the public’s help to locate him.
“If you see Jones, please do not approach him but instead call 999.
“If you have any other information about where he might be, please call 101 quoting investigation number 14/185476/19.”
We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
