THE number of patients admitted to Barnsley Hospital with Covid-19 has rocketed in the last seven days.
A total of 53 patients were admitted in the last seven days - a 71 per cent increase on the previous week’s figures.
There are currently 45 patients with the virus on the site, none of which are on a ventilation bed.
