A FIVE-YEAR-OLD Manchester terrier - from Worsbrough - followed in the footsteps of her dad by picking up a top prize at Crufts.
Gillian Knight, 67, and her husband Clive, 63, have been training dogs for the last 32 years - and they picked up yet another winner last weekend.
Back in 2015, Gillian’s then-three-year-old Manchester terrier Travis picked up the coveted prize of ‘best of breed’.
Fast-forward eight years and his daughter, five-year-old Tara, managed to grab the same award at the NEC in Birmingham.
Gillian said: “It was a really good show for us.
“We won in 2015 and that was with Tara’s father.
“We’ve been doing this for 32 years but we didn’t expect to win anything - we thought it would just be a good day out.
“She’s just a regular pet who lives in the house with us.
“We’ll be back again next year.”
