COLLEGE staff came together to raise cash for Barnsley Hospice - taking their collective total to more than £18,000.
A tournament - hosted by Barnsley College’s business development team - was held at Wortley Golf Club earlier this month.
A total of £700 was raised on the day, which also saw members of the Barnsley business community attend, through sponsorship and raffles.
Helen Weatherston, director of business development, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who generously donated towards this initiative.
“It’s heart-warming to witness the Barnsley community coming together to support such a worthy and compassionate cause.”
Vicky Stead, community relationships manager at the hospice, added: “We’re so thankful to Barnsley College for supporting us once again.
“The college has been a wonderful supporter of Barnsley Hospice for many years and has raised over £18,000 for us in total.”
