POLICE were called to Dodworth last night after a man was found with a gunshot wound.
At around 10pm on Sunday, officers responded to reports that a man suffering with a gunshot wound was on Barnsley Road, Dodworth.
Armed response officers were deployed to the area and the man, a 35-year-old, was taken to hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
An investigation has now been launched into the incident and the victim remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
