TWO Barnsley cousins are fund-raising for a sponsored cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats in June.
James Pooley, 17, of Grimethorpe, and Carl Dundas, 32, of Barnsley, are raising money for motor neurone disease (MND) and leukaemia charities.
They have so far raised more than £1,000 to help fund the ride, with a goal of £1,500. All amounts raised over this amount will be donated to MND and leukaemia charities.
They hope to start on June 16 and to complete the challenge in nine days.
