THREE-year-old Lauren Taylor was diagnosed with the extremely rare genetic condition Williams syndrome at just four months old.

The condition affects one in 25,000 children in the UK and causes cardiovascular problems, developmental delay, hypersensitivity to noise and sleep problems.

She has been nominated for a Proud of Barnsley Award in the Triumph Over Adversity category after working to raise awareness of her condition, appearing on programmes like This Morning and in newspapers across the world.
