TWO cyclists have completed a sponsored bike ride across the country to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Care.
Simon Waller, 49, of Roperhouse Lane, Thurgoland, and Phil Hinchliffe, 45, of Tollbar Close, Oxspring, cycled 315 miles from Newcastle to London within 24 hours.
The pair rode through the night and endured gales and heavy rain throughout and raised a combined total of more than £1,500.
