DEDICATED baubles can be put on a special tree this Christmas.
Flowers by Eden, of King Street, Hoyland, is hanging baubles on the tree in its shop to raise money for Barnsley Hospice. Customers are invited to think of a loved one and make a dedication by writing their name on the bauble.
Manager Joanne Jones said: “We get a lot of people asking for flowers for funerals. It really made us think about what we could do to give something back. We’re calling our event a ‘Christmas to Remember’. We ask people to contribute £3 to place a bauble in dedication of a loved one. We will finish the collection at Christmas, add up what we have, and give the funds to the hospice as a gift.”
