A DILAPIDATED four-bedroom terrace near Barnsley town centre hasn’t been lived in ‘since 1987’ according to neighbours who are fed up with it bringing their area down.
The overgrown house on Cemetery Road has been gutted inside by vandals and squatters. It has suffered fire and has been a constant worry for neighbours for more than 25 years.
Now neighbour Shaun Silcock has contacted Barnsley Council to urge it to take action to see the property brought back into a habitable state.
