A CAMPAIGN has been launched to encourage and support breastfeeding.
Start4Life is Public Health England’s programme which helps parents adopt healthy behaviours.
Just 44 per cent of mothers are still breastfeeding at six to eight weeks. But new research shows many mothers wished they had been better prepared for breastfeeding.
The Start4Life ‘breastfeeding friend’ is now available on Amazon’s Alexa voice service. With the chatbot, accessed through Facebook Messenger, and the Start4Life website, expert advice can be accesses in a friendly and accessible way.
