The group, which will meet at St John’s Primary School on Vicarage Lane every week from 6.15pm, is for girls aged between ten and 14.
A spokesman from the group said: “Members will take part in a wide range of exciting activities at their regular meetings, and at special events or holidays.
“Girls can get involved in anything from adventure sports to performing arts, travel and taking part in community action projects.”
