Lewin Nyatanga scored an injury-time winner as Barnsley made it three wins in a row with a 3-2 success at Millwall on Tuesday night.

The Reds fell behind but goals either side of the break from Sam Winnall and Alfie Mawson put the visitors in front. Millwall levelled with eight to play but Nyatanga headed in in the 92nd minute.

Head coach Lee Johnson made two changes to the side that beat Burton Albion 1-0 on Saturday as Joe Rothwell and George Smith were replaced by Conor Hourihane and Dan Crowley with new signing Reece Wabara starting on the bench.

The Reds were the better in the first quarter of the match.Marley Watkins forced a good save from home goalkeeper David Forde after a cross by Crawley who later put Winnall through on goal but he fired high and wide.

The home side netted against the run of play on 27 minutes with Fred Onyedinma scrambling in from close range after a cross from the right by Steve Morison. The Lions could have scored three more in the next ten minutes as Shaun Edwards and Morison narrowly missed the target when well-placed while Tony Craig's header found the top right corner but it was ruled out.It was then Barnsley's turn to score against the run of play as Winnall turned in a cross from Watkins in the 39th minute for his first goal of the season.

The visitors went 2-1 up on 56 minutes when Marc Roberts hooked Hourihane's free-kick back into the box and Mawson volleyed brilliantly into the bottom left corner from 12 yards out.

Watkins missed a great chance to extend the lead when he showed terrific pace to run onto a Crowley pass but shot across goal from the right of the box when clean through.

Millwall levelled with eight minutes left as Onyedinma was free to head in Shane Ferguson's corner at the near post. Another header won it when Nyatanga got on the end of Hourihane's injury-time free-kick.
