A second non-league striker in a week has joined Barnsley FC with Kayden Jackson the latest to sign for The Reds.

Jackson, 22, has joined on a two year deal after Barnsley agreed a fee with National League club Wrexham.

The pacy frontman, formerly of Swindon and Tamworth, scored four times in 34 appearances for the Welsh club last season.

Caretaker Head Coach Paul Heckingbottom said of Jackson: "We're really thrilled to have Kayden choose us over other clubs. He has pace to burn, likes to get at defenders and will fit in nicely to the way we play.

"He has brilliant potential and we're excited to have him on board."

Last week Barnsley signed Stefan Payne from Dover and Barnet full-back Andy Yiadom.
